Back in 2000, I bought 1998 Grand Prix just that was just off of lease.  It was a Daytona 500 Limited Edition Grand Prix. These cars are numbered and this is car number 466 of 1,500 built. This car came with all options but the sunroof and the CD-changer.  What a great car, with the supercharged 3.8 there was always plenty of power when you wanted it.  Yet, I could easily knock out 30+ MPG on the highway.  Ultimately, in 2006 a van turned left in front of me at 50 mph.  I didn’t have any collision insurance and I sold her as a parts car.  One day, several years later, I did see her again.  A little rough around the edges, with a new hood and paint, but back on the road.  Kind of made me smile!

The Daytona 500 edition featured for an additional $695.00:
